A robbery was carried out on the stock exchange at Gnoiener Platz on Friday afternoon (10.12.22). At around 4:40 p.m., an unidentified suspect entered the store. He went to the cash register and threatened a clerk with a gun. The perpetrator asked the employee to hand over the cash. The unknown man grabbed the money and then fled on foot – according to initial findings, in the direction of Daler Platz. The suspect stole four-digit cash. The police immediately searched for the perpetrator, but without success. He is described as follows: The man was about 1.80 meters tall and was wearing a black hooded jacket, dark gray jeans and black shoes. Under the hood he wore a black baseball cap from Adidas with white stripes on the peak. His face was covered with a black surgical mask. He had brown eyes. The police are taking further information from witnesses who have observed something unusual or who can give information about the perpetrator at the station in Steinfurt on 02551/15-411.
