The Municipality of Cesena, through a press release, lets it be known that it continues its commitment in favor of the city sports centers owned by the Body which need restructuring and redevelopment interventions. This is the case with baseball field of via Arzignano, a Villachiavichehandled by The elephant of Cesena and composed of a play area, changing rooms and an outdoor area.
Explains the councilor for sport Christian Castorri: “We have identified a redevelopment and energy savingof the total value of 170 thousand euros, which will be carried out in the via Arzignano hub for the promotion and improvement of energy efficiency. As happened for the Stadium and the Hippodrome gymnasium, the new lighting system a led will allow the Company to make full use of the area with considerable energy savings”.
In the sports complex that houses the only baseball field in the city, a lighting system was created in 2009 consisting of two light towers each with 12 2,000-watt projectors, responding to a need shared by the licensed sports club, linked to the performance of sports competitions in the evening. Today, after having surveyed and verified the current lighting system, it turned out that some light points require further maintenance. Therefore we will proceed with the replacement of the 24 halogen lights divided over 2 light towers, with 36 new headlights to Led, thus passing from a consumption of 48,000 watts to 43,200 watts. The generator set equipped with an internal combustion engine, which currently supplies current to the lighthouses which will be connected to a new electrical panel directly to the public network, will also be demolished.
