The Soria-CS24 Badminton Club faces the last of the tests of the Federation of Castilla y León calendar traveling this Saturday the 10th, to the Palencia town of Villamuriel de Cerrato, where the scoring test for the national ranking for sub19 categories will be held. sub15 and sub11.
The Soriana expedition will be made up of six players. In the sub19 category, the only player will be Daniela Corchón who, while still belonging to the sub17 category, already stands out among the sub19s. Daniela will play the individual modality and the mixed double modality together with Andrés Pérez from León, appearing as the seed in both tables.
Meanwhile, in the sub15 category, up to five representatives will participate. In the women’s singles, Isabel Corchón, who is the number two seed, Carmen Gómez, fourth favorite, María González and Lucía Manzanares will participate. Special mention requires María González who, after several months in the discipline of the club, will debut in federated competition. The four will also play the female double modality in which Isabel and Carmen are the second favourites.
The only male representative will be Álvaro Gómez. Being in the first year of the sub13 category, he makes his first foray into the superior category in order to gain experience and compete with players of a high level.
