Murder of the Boma, two sentences of 20 and 16 years in prison are requested

MANTUA – Twenty and sixteen years of imprisonment. This is the request made by the public prosecutor Lucia Lombardo against the two alleged perpetrators of the Boma crime, Abdelwahad Hoshush, 32, and Bouchta Bouchari, 35, both Moroccans and both in trial with abbreviated procedure. The two are held allegedly responsible for the murder that took place on the night of 2 July 2021 of the 24-year-old Albanian Atilio Ndrekai who had been the victim of a brutal beating, perpetrated with a baseball bat, in the Boma square. The young man had died in the Carlo Poma hospital after two days of agony.
Instead, the other attacked had gone better, Pierfrancesco Ferrari, a 37-year-old from San Giorgio who survived what immediately appeared to be a full-blown ambush attributable, according to the investigator’s hypothesis, to a settling of accounts in the field of drugs.
According to the evidence adduced, it would have been the 32-year-old, in judgment with the lawyers Marina Manfredi of the Brescia Court and Stefania Giribaldi of the Cremona Court, who repeatedly struck the young Albanian on the head after having removed from his hand the club with which the victim had presented at the appointment.
On the basis of these elements, the defense of the defendant, who is also accused of specific recidivism, invoked the mitigating factor of legitimate defense with a simultaneous request for the reclassification of the main charge from voluntary to manslaughter. Instead, the friend, defended by the lawyer Emanuele Luppi, acting with punches and bottles, would have played a supporting role, but still decisive in carrying out the criminal intent. The sentence is expected in January.
