Massimo Bellano sacked by Florence, in the next few days the name of the new coach – OA Sport

Four consecutive defeats, including the last in the city derby against Savino del Bene Scandicci, proved fatal for Massimo Bellano. In fact, during the day Il Bisonte Firenze has announced, through an official statement, that the Molisano will no longer be the coach of the team.

The statement reads as follows: “Il Bisonte Firenze announces that it has relieved Massimo Bellano of his role as coach of the first team. The club thanks coach Bellano for the work done and the results achieved in his year and a half as coach of the bisontine, and wishes him the best of luck from a human and professional point of view. At the same time, the club announces that it will announce the name of the new head coach in the next few days.”

So the name of his successor has not yet been made official, who should make his debut on 7 January in the away championship match against Busto Arsizio. The failure to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia obviously weighed heavily on this decision, a minimum objective for a roster with important potential.

2022: a year of 9 for Italy which has confirmed itself as Caput Mundi in sport

Whoever finds himself sitting on the bench in Florence will therefore start again from 11th position in the standings (although eighth is only one point away) and from a group that obviously needs to regain pace and confidence after a difficult and unfortunate period.
