Inca lives a spectacular first edition of the Balearic Basketball All-Star

Balearic basketball has closed the year 2022 with the spectacular party of the All-Star of the Balearic Islands Basketball Federation, which gathered a little over 800 people in the Palau Municipal d’Esports d’Inca. This way, the FEBIB 1935 Foundation raised about 1,500 euros that join the solidarity donation of non-perishable food to benefit the Escribano Foundation.

The first edition of the FBIB All-Star became a great Balearic basketball party with the participation of the best 24 players and the 24 best players of the Lligues Escribano and a spectacular atmosphere that revolved around the two all-star games in which the current high level of the highest category of basketball in the Balearic Islands was demonstrated.

Besides the matches, the event had a great atmosphere in the purest American style. The music, the animation of the speaker and the ‘showtime‘ on the track they made a magical afternoon. With a charitable purpose and with the aim of giving greater diffusion to the categorythe All-Star was a complete success thanks to the great acceptance received by the Balearic society. Players from Mallorca, Menorca and Eivissa They participated in this first all-star match, which is expected to become, over the years, a major event within the annual basketball calendar on the islands.

The two orange teams won

As for the sports part, the two orange teams, led by Jordi Fernández (in the women’s category) and Eloy Doce (in the men’s category) were the winners of their respective parties. The Lligues Escribano continue to take steps forward in every way and the creation of this event is one more initiative of the FBIB with the aim of making a category that has been growing for several years more attractive.

This way, Balearic basketball closes a year 2022 full of successes both at the federation level and at the club level and now faces a new year with the desire to continue progressing and making a sport with a long tradition on the islands stronger.
