Lillard’s double-double with 40 points does not save the Trail Blazers from losing (VIDEO)

Last night in the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Denver Nuggets beat the Portland Trail Blazers 121-120 in a tense battle.

Nikola Jokic led the winners with 33 points, ten rebounds and nine assists, while Damian Lillard had 40 points and 12 assists for the opponents.

Miami Heat beat Los Angeles Clippers 115-110. Bem Adebayo added 10 steals to his 31 points, while Paul George scored 29 points at the other end of the court.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Houston Rockets 118-109, ending their 11-game losing streak. Keldon Johnson led the way with 32 points, while rockets Jabari Smith scored 23 points.
