LE CREUSOT: 30 podiums for Judo Club Creusotin this weekend

This weekend was rich in emotions for the young Creusotins judokas since the Saône et Loire championships took place in Saint Marcel. Saturday morning, 12 minim presented themselves at the Departmental Cup with the aim of getting on the podium in order to be qualified for the Burgundy Franche Comté Cup which will take place in February.
8 of them have won medals and are thus qualified. They are: Gold Medal: Ewen, Mélodie, Enzo, Hugo. Silver Medal: Andrea, Nathan; Bronze medal: Iliane and Anaïs. Muhammad. Naël and Mathis rank 5th. Francois is 7th. Saturday afternoon, it was the turn of the youngest to get on the tatami for the departmental criterium. Of the 10 young people entered, 6 were able to climb on the podium and 8 of them have already qualified for the Burgundy basin criterium which will take place in April. Gold Medal: Anas. Silver Medal: Assia and Cameron. Bronze medal: Lana, Tania, Quentin. Insaf and Kylian finish 5th.

Despite some disappointment for the 6 judokas who could not qualify directly, all is not over, Johnny Potet, coach of the Judo Club Creusotin will take them to seek points on the Ranking List tournaments so that all can go to regional competitions . During this day, 8 young people took part in the cut of the young minimal and cadet referee, which is a good omen for the continuation of their course of judokas.
Sunday morning, 3 first year club cadets headed to Saint Marcel for the Saône et Loire championship. The 3 were able to qualify for the Burgundy Franche Comté junior 1st division phase knowing that their goal is the BFC hope championship. Valentine and Michaël obtain a silver medal. Arthur is 5th
In the afternoon, 14 young Creusotin judokas participated in the Grand Prix Poussins 71. They all came back with a medal, happy to have been able to show their know-how on the tatami. Are medalists: Gold medals (Adam, Julie, Ria, Sherine); Silver medals (Ethan, Louisa, Soren, Gustave); Bronze medal (Fidji-Rose, Victor, Sarah, Wassim Andrea, Leonor). Andrea, Iliane and Valentine took advantage of this activity to practice refereeing. Johnny Potet is proud of his group of very close-knit young judokas, of their commitment, and in a year of working together, very beautiful things are shown. He also thanks Antoine Orozco for supporting the young people, and all the parents for their trust. Note that 3 young creusotins judokas, Lana, Louisa, Wassim, have been elected to the municipal youth committee of Le Creusot.
