Kate and William arrived in Boston on Wednesday. As soon as they landed, the Prince and Princess of Wales were greeted by the city’s mayor, Michelle Wu. Prince William then gave a speech to a crowd armed with umbrellas. A few hours later, while the rain was still pouring, the couple took shelter for a basketball game.

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton showed their bond with rare tender gestures as they encouraged the Boston team. Moments before the NBA game started, the lovebirds showed their support for the Celtics on Twitter: “Go Celtics, go!” To their applause, the local team won against the Miami Heat.

Third official trip to the United States

In the United States for three days, the parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis (9.7 and 4 years old) have a busy schedule to say the least. This Thursday, the couple will meet organizations involved in the protection of the environment. The next day, Kate Middleton will visit a center for child development at Harvard University while Prince William will visit the Presidential Library and the John F. Kennedy Museum. In the evening, they will be at the helm of the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony, along with prestigious guests.
