Burnaby is a Canadian city of the province of British Columbia. It is the head of Regional District of Greater Vancouver and part of the Greater Vancouver area. Here born and raised Michael Bublé and is also where is the mansion located that he shares with his wife, Luisana Lopilato, and their four children: Noah, Eliah, Heaven and Life.
The couple decided in 2016 to build the house of his dreams and that is why they put together a “wish list” so they would have everything they ever wanted. In charge of the project, which it took three years to come true, was the Canadian architect Michael Green, who was in charge of the renovation Prince George Airport and the Vancouver Art Gallery building.
The special orders for the mansion were an ice rink for Michael, who is a huge hockey fan – he even owns the town team, the Burnaby Angels– y a professional tennis court for Luisana, since he usually practices this sport.
In the beginning there was Some inconvenients with construction as they surrounded the extensive land -of 9300 square meters- in which they located the mansion with some imposing walls what they did not respect the urban design from the city. Though was solved with the planting of trees around the perimeter of the wall.
Today the mansion is valued at $12 millionhave heated pool, seven bedrooms, fifteen bathrooms, two basements, a service house and, of course, the tennis and hockey courts with which their owners dreamed.
The arrival of the Lopoilato-Buble family to the city of Burnabyit was very well received by the neighbors: the Canadian city is where the musician he was born and spent the first years of his childhood and, in addition, the land of the house is right in front of the school that the singer attended.
According to what The Vancouver Sun newspaper published at the time, the residents commented: “We believe that it is wonderful; he could have gone anywhere in the world to build his house, but he chose Burnaby, where he grew up, and that’s great.”
During one of Luisana’s visits to Argentina, she commented on the program Susana Gimenez what it implied have the ice hockey field in your house, which at first brought them several headaches: “Michael told me in English: ‘Why did it occur to me to do this track?’. He was sick of it because he was melting and he didn’t know what to do.”
In addition, he commented on the great use that they give to that exclusive area of his home: “I thought I was not going to use it, but On Mondays and Thursdays the group of boys from school always comes. I cook and everyone comes to take hockey lessons.”
