The images were accompanied by somewhat provocative phrases such as “Goodbye Gauls”, “Allez les rosbifs” or “It’s coming home”. ‘The Sun’ also took the opportunity to boast on its site. “Our team has illuminated the City of Light”, can we read there. Too confident? Indeed, if the Three Lions leave with their tail between their legs after the meeting with the Blues, the French will be happy to remind them of it for many years.
