MEXICO CITY (appro).- A fire in a tennis warehouse in the Tepito neighborhood, Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, occurred this Monday afternoon, with no injuries recorded so far.
The fire was generated in premises located on González Ortega street and Eje 1 Norte, Colonia Morelos, where various emergency vehicles arrived to attend to the conflagration.
The mayor, Sandra Cuevas, called for help with water pipes to put out the flames.
The Secretary of Government, Martí Batres, reported that “luckily, there are no injured people.”
In the workplace, personnel from different departments work to put out the flames. Around 8:00 p.m., capital firefighters reported that the fire had been extinguished and they were proceeding with the debris removal stage.
