Fijlkam Umbria in the national limelight for the promotion of the Global Self-Defense Method

The group of technicians directed by the regional trustee Maestro Pompilius Attili concluded the cycle of events with an interesting meeting with the Master Vincent Faillacollaborator with the Student Agents School of the Vibo Valentia State Police and national manager of the Global Method of Self-Defense.

The Global Self Defense Method represents the federal Fijlkam proposal as a transversal teaching system for self-defense. The qualified technicians come from a training linked to the respective sectors of Judo, Wrestling, Karate and Jujitsu, to which they had to add an ad hoc path in order to enrich and adapt their respective technical skills to elements of psychology, communication, law and other issues of reference, in order to be able to offer a modulated proposal for every situation and need.

Given the importance of the topics covered, the event directed by Maestro Failla recorded the participation of technicians from neighboring regions for a day entirely dedicated to professional growth. “Our little Umbria – said the regional president Andrea Arena – also in this moment it has proved to be among the national excellences in the field of the promotion of martial arts and the Fijlkam Global Self-Defense Method. The credit goes to the regional staff made up of highly trained technicians, and to the women’s Mga group, the flagship for the degree of professionalism achieved by our instructors.

The constant work carried out in collaboration with the regional trustee Maestro Pompilio Attili is enjoying great success and this is demonstrated by the many schools in the area that ask to join the ‘No Bulli’ module of the ‘School Project 2 Fijlkam Umbria’. And that’s why I like to talk about personal safety rather than defense, for the many concepts that our technicians put in place to prevent certain situations. The values of our disciplines, related to education and respect for the individual and the group, are then the engine to be able to change the drift that is perceived not only among young people. We believe in it and work to change the world with a smile”.
