F1 extends the contract for the Dutch “Grand Prix” – Motor sports – Sportacentrs.com

F1 representatives have reached an agreement with the Zandvoort circuit, which extends the existing contract for another two years.

The Grand Prix stage returned to the Netherlands after a 26-year hiatus in 2021. In both races held in 2021 and 2022, the current world champion Max Verstappen from the Netherlands won.

“The Dutch Grand Prix has established itself as a fan-favourite race,” said F1 president Stefano Domenicali. “There is a very high demand to host F1 races, so the fact that we secured Zandvoort a place on the calendar until 2025 is a testament to the high level of organization and the hard work of the Zandvoort team.”

The 2023 season is scheduled to start on March 5, with the first stage taking place in Bahrain, while the season will end on November 26, with Abu Dhabi hosting the last stage of the competition.
