The ERC Ingolstadt from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) has extended the contract with head coach Mark French by two years. Upper Bavaria announced this on Friday. The 51-year-old Canadian took over the position of head coach at the ERC before the season and is in a strong third place with the team from Ingolstadt after almost half of the main round. “We wanted to create a new identity and structure, and an important building block for this was the signing of Mark. He lives these two fundamental elements authentically and fully fulfills what we expected from him,” said ERC Sport Director Tim Regan .
