The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education is holding a sports exchange event to relieve stress for 3rd year high school students who have completed the CSAT.
The City Office of Education is holding basketball, badminton, and bowling competitions from the 1st to the 14th for high school seniors who have not been able to participate in school sports clubs to their heart’s content due to preparation for the CSAT.
As a result of the participation application, 13 teams of basketball (129 people), 17 teams of badminton (132 people), 14 teams of bowling (42 people), and a total of 303 people from 44 teams will participate in the preliminary league and final tournament for each event.
Basketball (boys) is played at Hyosung Girls’ High School and Gyeseong Middle School, badminton (boys and girls) is played at Gyeongbuk Girls’ High School, and bowling (boys and girls) is played at Daegyeong Bowling Alley.
All students participating in the competition will be provided with financial aid and souvenirs.
Kang Eun-hee, superintendent of education, said, “In the past three years, there has been a lack of opportunities for sports activities due to Corona 19 and preparation for the CSAT.
