Charlotte Hornets vs Los Angeles Clippers: With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George back, the Clippers beat the Hornets

Lthe injuries left behind for Paul George and Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers took advantage of the return of their stars to get ahead of their commitment in Charlotte and precisely with a crucial basket by Kawhi, they defeated the Hornets 119-117.

Paul George also returned from a hamstring strain and scored 19 goals, in addition to seven assists for the Clippers, who ended their two-game losing streak. Reggie Jackson and Nic Batum each had 13 points, while John Wall added 12 points and 12 assists off the bench. Luke Kennard added nine goals from the bench in his first duel back from injury.

Kelly Oubre scored 28 points and PJ Washington rallied with 26 for the Hornets after going 0-for-13 from the field Saturday. Washington missed a long shot as time expired that would have tied the game.

Having Leonard, George and Kennard back should give the Clippers (14-11) a big boost going forward. Leonard has been out since November 21, George since November 19, and Kennard since November 15.
