Castel Volturno, threatens the owners of a pizzeria: arrested

A 51-year-old from Naples was arrested by the carabinieri in Castel Volturno, a town on the Caserta coast, shortly after threatening the owners of a pizzeria with a baseball bat and a rifle.

The fight and the threats

According to what was ascertained by the carabinieri, everything would have happened on the evening of December 23, when the 51-year-old had a heated argument outside the pizzeria with the owners of the restaurant, during the dispute the man first threatened the owners of the business with a baseball bat, then walked away and returned with a rifle, causing the owners to flee, who then contacted the carabinieri. The military quickly identified the 51-year-old, searched him and found the rifle, a semi-automatic 9 caliber flobert, without brand and serial number and with a bullet in the cartridge chamber, 16 cartridges and a baseball bat. The 51-year-old was arrested and taken to jail.
