“VEF Rīga” extends the contract with Kouzija until the end of the season

This season, Cousy played in three matches in the Champions League, where he averaged seven points and 6.7 assists. The 30-year-old LIBL basketball player has played 11 games, scoring an average of 12.6 points.

Kouzijs played for “VEF Rīga” in the second half of the 2018/2019 season and helped the people of Rīga to win the Latvian championship.

The American started this season with Stelmet Enea of ​​Zelona Gura in the Polish League, where he averaged 6.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in two games.

In the previous season, Kouzi played for Yalovaspor in the Turkish top league and Peristeri in the Greek league. In Turkey, Kousei averaged 10.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, while in “Peristeri” – 8.5 points and 2.7 assists.

Meanwhile, Abrams added to the ranks of the “Weffians” at the end of September. On average, the basketball player scored 11.7 points, won 4.3 rebounds and collected 1.1 assists per match in the Thessaloniki club.

He played in five matches in the Champions League for “VEF Riga”, in which he scored an average of 5.2 points, while he managed to score an average of 4.3 points in nine games in the LIBL.

With 13 wins in 16 matches, “VEF Rīga” occupies the second place in the Latvian-Estonian League overall ranking table, but the season of the FIBA ​​Champions League has ended for the Riga players.
