Fabio Capello give sky-high praise to Lionel Messi and condemn Cristiano Ronaldo arrogant.
The former coach of the Italian national team had the opportunity to review the 2022 World Cup in an interview with Il Corriere della Sera.
In the interview Capello was asked if Messi was at the same level of play as Diego Maradona after Argentina won the World Cup.
He also did not hesitate to praise Messi, who according to him is now on par with world football legends Diego Maradona and Pele.
“For me he was at the same level even before the World Cup. Pele, Messi and Maradona did things that other people couldn’t even imagine,” Capello said as quoted by Football Italia.

“Ronaldo took it upon himself for what he did in his career, it’s a disgrace,” Capello said.
“As a player he doesn’t need to be questioned, but he is arrogant. He offered himself without finding a club that would believe in him. He is a bit of a hassle for a team,” Capello added.
