It would be the best Christmas present for the tennis legend and his family!

British media reported as early as mid-November: Boris Becker (55) will be deported to Germany in time for Christmas and will be a free man. And now suddenly everything has to happen very quickly.

Becker is still in British Huntercombe prison in Oxfordshire, where he also celebrated his 55th birthday. On April 29, he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for bankruptcy crimes.

Now the British “Mirror” reports: Boris Becker is to be deported to Germany next week. Then he would have served less than eight months of his two and a half year sentence.

Boris Becker is said to have been admitted to a fast-track procedure in which foreign prisoners are released to their home countries in order to relieve British prisons and save money.

Boris’ deportation has not yet been officially confirmed

Becker has lived in the UK since 2012 but does not have British citizenship. His deportation to Germany has not yet been officially confirmed. But if that’s the case, Boris will be a free man by Christmas, and he won’t have to serve out the rest of his sentence in Germany.

However, he is also not allowed to return to the United Kingdom and therefore not to London until the end of his entire sentence. His ex-wife Lilly (46), their son Amadeus (12) and his current partner Lilian (34), with whom Boris lived in the Kensington district before his imprisonment, live there.

It would also be a great pleasure for Becker’s mother Elvira (87) if her son was released early next week.

She was so afraid that she might never see her boy again. “At her age, you never know what’s going to happen,” said months ago from her environment. “We always got along well,” said Boris’ mom to BILD. “No matter what happens – he is and will always be my son.” And Elvira would also love to hug him for Christmas.

“Of course he doesn’t want to stay in custody a day longer than necessary,” said a Becker confidante recently to BILD. And it seems his wish will soon come true.

As BILD learned, the tennis star’s family and close friends are already making preparations for Boris’ release behind the scenes.
