Crailsheim (SID) – The Hakro Merlins Crailsheim from the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) have parted ways with coach Sebastian Gleim after around one and a half years. The decision had “nothing to do with the sporting situation,” the club said on Thursday, the team was “on target”. Crailsheim is 13th in the table with three wins from nine games. The previous assistant coach Nikola Markovic takes over Gleim’s tasks.
Gleim came from the Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt for the 2021/22 season, and last season the 38-year-old led the team to the cup final. The BBL main round ended for Crailsheim in ninth place.
