Argentina, on the brink of elimination from the United Tennis Cup

The first edition of the United Cup of tennis has not been the best for Argentina. The team led by Gisela Dulko debuted with a tremendous 0-5 against France and at the beginning of the second date things were far from improving: Croatia the first points were left and the bell was just one game away from ringing marking the elimination.

At the opening of the second day corresponding to Saturday there were singles duels versus the Europeans: Maria Lourdes Carle fell to Donna Vekic 6-0, 6-4 and Francisco Cerundolo he could not beat Borna Coric, who defeated him 7-5, 6-4. The key will close this Sunday with the clashes of Nadia Podoroska-Petra Martic; Frederick Coria-Borna Gojo and the doubles of Vekic-Coric vs. Podoroska-Cerúndolo.
