Abraham Toro would continue his career in the Brewers organization

Toro is coming off a tough season in Seattle, maintaining a batting average of just .185. He was not used in the last playoffs by the Mariners, although he was retained on the 26-man roster for the two rounds the team participated in.

In four major league seasons with the Houston Astros and Mariners, the Longueilois, who turns 26 on Dec. 20, averaged .206/.276/.345 with 26 home runs and 99 RBIs.

Versatile, he can play second and third base, in addition to patrolling the outfield. His great asset is that he is an ambidextrous hitter.

In addition to Toro, the Brewers would get outfielder Jesse Winker from the Mariners. Winker appeared in 136 games with the Mariners after being acquired from the Cincinnati Reds along with Eugenio Suarez. He was sidelined from mid-October due to neck and knee injuries.

Wong’s name has been circulating in trade rumors for several weeks. The veteran of 10 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals and Brewers, Wong averaged .261/.334/.368 in his career, with 82 home runs and 378 RBIs.

Wong is an excellent defensive second baseman: in 10 seasons, he maintained a .980 save percentage with only 86 errors.
