225 days of Didi Kühbauer – “At 65 I’m definitely not on the line anymore”

Today we live in a challenging time that is characterized by permanent crises. Is one even more grateful for the privilege of being a professional athlete and being able to practically live in a bubble?
I’ve always said that. I have a lot of respect for a serious football professional or coach. But my life hasn’t always been rosy, so I can appreciate the privilege of being a footballer. I wasn’t born with a golden spoon in my mouth and maybe that’s why I have more determination and motivation to be successful. It’s important not to change once you’re feeling better. I dare to say that about myself. I still have the friends I used to have. Being a professional soccer player is a wonderful job – but that’s why being a construction worker counts for just as much.
