JUARA.NET – About 10 hours after Usman Nurmagomedov won Bellator, another fighter trained by Khabib Nurmagomedov triumphed.
Saygid Izagakhmaev is the next to shine at ONE Championship, ONE 163, Saturday (11/19/2022) night in Singapore.
Fighting against former ONE Championship lightweight champion, Shinya Aoki, Khabib’s apprentice snatched victory with barely a sweat.
Still at the start of the first round, Izagakhmaev’s right punch hit Aoki in the face.
As soon as his opponent fell, Saygid Izagakhmaev immediately rushed in with more punches.
After the referee saw that Aoki was not fighting back, the fight was stopped with Izagakhmaev being crowned the winner.

Prior to the fight, there had been rumors that Izagakhmaev would advance to the title duel if he managed to win convincingly over Aoki.
The ONE Championship lightweight champion, Christian Lee, is one of those who believes this.
