The season started a few weeks ago in LFB and times are already very hard for Basket Landes, champion in 2021.
After three days of LFB, Basket Landes has as many defeats as matches and thus shares the place of red lantern with Landerneau. Club coach since 2019 after finishing her playing career there and being an assistant, Julie Barennes did not hide his frustration at the microphone of Sud Ouest after the defeat against the Flames Carolos.
“We are disappointed because we are not far away, but we still lose once again. It sucks…”
The former Cavigal Nice player deplores a lack of confidence in her team which has not won a single match this season, in all competitions, after six games.
“It’sToo bad that when we come back twice on their heels, we get left behind again, either by not putting the shots we need, or by being holed in defense. And the match turned on their side at the end of the game. This situation is complicated because we lack confidence on the offensive level. We are looking for solutions to stop this negative series once and for all. It is absolutely necessary that we reap to catch up on our current delay… ”
