After six years of absence from the ABE League, the men’s basketball team of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí presented itself at home with an important victory against the University of Guanajuato with a score of 87-65.
Until before this meeting, the Eagles team had relaxed four games as a visitor in its reappearance in the most important university basketball league, second division, achieving positive results by adding three wins in exchange for a single defeat, and now in its presentation at home came the fourth win of the tournament.
Despite facing an experienced team, which has already been participating in the League for several seasons, the team from Potosí showed capacity and managed to maintain its favorable results despite returning after several years of absence.
Prior to this game, the Potosinos had defeated the University of Aguascalientes, the Lasalle Bajío University of León, and the ITESM Campus Aguascalientes, while their only defeat was against the Bonaterra University of Aguascalientes.
