The whole truth behind the images of Djokovic: Did he dope?

Since the images of the moment came out, there is not a day that at Punto de Break (or in my personal account) we do not receive tweets asking for explanations about what Novak Djokovic was doing in the ATP Masters 1000 in Paris. There are those who accuse him of doping or trying to hide something on purpose, raising suspicions that he is doing something illegal. Nothing is further from reality. Everything is much simpler than it seems. We are going to reveal the whole truth behind those images, we explain what Nole is taking and why his team wants to hide what he has inside.

Did Novak Djokovic dope on the track? We reveal the whole truth behind those images

It is not the first time that in 2022 he has been accused of doing something suspicious. At Wimbledon, during one of his matches, Novak is seen inhaling from a bottle provided by his team and the journalist Ben Rothenberg (we all know him already) raised the hare of what could it be that had not been seen before. Asked at a press conference, the Serbian tried to kick the ball out and revealed that soon we would all know exactly what it was, but he announced that it was part of a supplementary product to help recover.

The images from this past weekend have made the issue topical again and when the video went viral on social networks, many have accused Nole of doping or doing something illegal.

The first thing to mention is that absolutely all tennis players, without exception, take supplements similar to this one. If you look closely, each player has two bottles on his bench. One with the transparent color of water and another of another color. It is just this bottle that has those powders that every tennis player uses to recover. Normally they are usually isotonic powders that help the athlete. Until John Millman has had to go out on Twitter to tell that in the locker room all the players do the same and that they do not want to show what brand they use.

Because that may be the main reason why the Nole team wanted to hide from the eyes of others how they prepared the bottle: give no clues. It is very likely, based on Nole’s words at Wimbledon, that this is a new product that he will soon launch on the market or that more will be known about and thus avoid giving clues to his rivals. At the highest level, every little detail makes the difference. It is also likely that do not want to show any kind of marks due to lack of agreements at present.

It would be illogical for Nole to dope in the eyes of the whole world, because although they hide what they put in the bottle, in the video the girl is seen taking the bottle to Djokovic, so everyone is seeing that she is taking something that has past your team. This, without forgetting that the Serbian, like the rest of the Top tennis players, pass between 8-12 annual controls and that any illegal product would give a positive result in the tests they carry out.

No, Djokovic has not doped on the court nor is there anything strange. As his own wife says on Twitter, wanting to be cautious about something (not showing what they’re throwing) doesn’t mean they’re doing something illegal. We will soon know what the Serb takes during matches to recover, but knowing how cautious he is to introduce anything inside his body, obviously, it can’t be anything strange that hasn’t been tried and tested.
