The Alicante Prosecutor’s Office has requested penalties that would imply imprisonment for the president of Hércules CF, Carlos Parodi; for his counterpart at the head of the Hercules Foundation, Valentine Bottle and for an employer Jose Francisco Javier Leon Barahona for the crime of seizure of assets in the Abdé case. For Parodi he asks for three years and two and a half years for the other two defendants.

The Public Ministry considers the three responsible for having hidden the Treasury the two million that the blue and white team received from Barça for the transfer of the player when they had the commitment to settle a debt contracted with the public coffers since the Alicante club was declared in bankruptcy in 2011.

The penalty request occurs after both Hércules and the Foundation have paid the amount of the debt, but once the criminal proceedings have begun.
