The Green Bay Packers suffered a 40-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field, but are most concerned about the loss of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

In the fourth quarter, the veteran suffered a right oblique muscle injury and was forced to make way for youngster Jordan Love. Rodgers was already bothered by a broken thumb.

Late in the duel, Love joined Christian Watson on 63 yards to cut the deficit to 37-30, but the Packers took a late field goal and had to give up.

Before leaving the game, Rodgers had completed 11 of 16 stints and thrown touchdown passes to Aaron Jones and Randall Cobb, while being the victim of two larceny.

On the Eagles side, Jalen Hurts was in great shape. He prepared for two majors, scored by AJ Brown and Quez Watkins, in addition to covering 157 yards with his legs.

The Eagles (10-1) thus maintained their lead at the top of the East section of the National, ahead of the Dallas Cowboys (8-3).

As for them, the Packers (4-8) will need a miracle to participate in the NFL playoffs.
