Konami has announced that eFootball 2023 has entered “Season 2” and will host a series of “The Football Festival”-themed events and campaigns, some of which have already started.
This will include the addition of 40 national teams that can now be selected for a limited time in the offline “Trial Match” mode, and in the online “Dream Team” mode, the “Dream Team Packs”. National Team Packs for Japan, Brazil, Argentina and France are all available now.
There will also be the addition of “The International Cup Experience”, an AI tournament event in which users can play as 1 of 46 national teams available, and the continuation of “eFootball International Cup”, a national challenge event with a prize pool. total of 1 billion eFootball coins.

“Trial Match” includes 40 new teams
eFootball™ 2023’s offline “Trial Match” mode will be expanded for a limited time to allow fans to play as 40 national teams, the full list of which can be found here: [LINK]
This will last from Wednesday, November 16th until mid-February 2023.
“The International Cup Experience” is in progress
To celebrate the unusual but exciting 2022 global football calendar, “The International Cup Experience” comes to eFootball™ 2023. This will allow players from 46 countries to compete against the AI and compete in group stages and knock-out rounds consequences to reach the pinnacle of world football.
This will last between Thursday, November 17th and Thursday, January 12th, 2023.
This comes alongside the ongoing “eFootball International Cup” where users can win a share of over 1 billion eFootball coins!
The “eFootball™ International Cup” runs from Thursday, October 20th and will conclude on Saturday, December 17th.
New packs of national teams
To help users of all abilities start their eFootball™ journey, four more national team packs have been made available. These packs will include 11 players from each country, allowing first-time users to build a solid baseline starting with X1, or even the greater experience of eFootball™ users to further enhance their “Dream Teams”.

Each National Team Pack will also include a player who will appear as a “Big Time” card, Epic’s new theme.
What is “Big Time”?
“Big Time” represents the new theme of eFootball™ player “Epic” cards. These players can be past or present and celebrate some of the best individual moments on the field with a special card design. All to allow users to potentially recreate these moments (or do better) in-game in eFootball 2023.
