The student had suffered an accident during a physical education class, in the Army building located at 2,500 Italia Street.

Vera was participating, along with the rest of her classmates, in a basketball practice, when unexpectedly, the branch of an ancient tree fell off.

Unfortunately for the teenager, the trunk hit his head and caused serious injuries that led him to be hospitalized, just minutes later, in a sanatorium located a few meters from the military institution.

Once the accident happened, the institution had shared a statement explaining what happened. “The General Aráoz Military High School in La Madrid reports on the health status of a 3rd year cadet. From the moment of Agustín’s hospitalization, his relatives, teachers and friends gathered in front of the sanatorium to accompany and pray for his recovery.

However, the first medical studies were not encouraging and the clinical evolution was almost nil, so the hopes of a recovery faded with the passing of the hours.
