The 36-year-old Manuel Neuer made the revelation during the launch of a line of care products, together with the German top tennis player Angelique Kerber.
“We both have very personal histories when it comes to skin diseases,” Neuer said. “In Angelique’s case it’s sun-related hyperpigmentation and in my case skin cancer in my face, which I already had 3 surgery on.”
Neuer has been in the rags for several weeks with a shoulder injury, but his return is imminent. The German international has resumed training this week. His participation in the World Cup would not be in danger.
