The Badoni Hakathon marathon goes to the Sapere Aude group

The Hakathon competition, scheduled as part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the Badoni Institute with the collaboration of Softeam SpA – protagonist in software design and IT consultancy services, ended around 1 pm on Saturday 12 November.

The race, a 24-hour non-stop marathon officially started on Friday at 2 pm and already in its third edition, had 50 4th and 5th graders belonging to all the branches present in the school as protagonists, who challenged each other to freely create a project from scratch following the main theme ‘The workplace of the future’.

The jury that had the task of evaluating the works was made up of 8 elements: 5 members belonging to the Badoni Institute and precisely: the Director Luisa Zuccoli, the teachers Stefano Coppola, Chiara Giambagli, Fabrizio Monatnaro and Andrea Volpato and 3 members belonging to the Softeam . There was also the possibility for tutors (professors and Softeam staff) who did not belong to the jury, to report any positive or negative notes, detected during the support rounds.

The score, assigned to each of the 11 groups that participated, took into account the following parameters: Idea-Logo-Document-Prototype-Presentation and Reel.

The deliveries were marked by a calendar that was immediately delivered to the participants and which envisaged a tight and well-organized work rhythm, while the novelty compared to the previous editions consisted in the creation of a 15-30 second Reel in which to present the prototype/application.

The winning team was awarded a prize of 1,000 euros while 2 special mentions, one from the school and the other from Softeam respectively, saw the assignment of 2 amazon vouchers of 300 euros each.
