A new player arrives in Teramo. Coach Andrea Gabrielli can thus welcome in the team Giorgio Galipò, a 23-year-old playmaker with already various experiences in the Serie B championship, despite his young age. With the Sicilian winger, the red and white formation adds an element capable of bringing energy, rhythm management and pressure on the ball. With the intention of following the line already drawn in the summer and focusing on young athletes who are able to integrate tactically and able to enhance the team play system.
Galipò has already arrived in the city, has passed the usual visits, so from today he will have the opportunity to train with his new teammates. And he certainly does not lack enthusiasm, according to his first statements: “I’m really happy to be able to play in Serie B and to do it in Teramo. I know I am in an important place for basketball and I will do my best to help the team express its full potential. I played against coach Gabrielli’s teams and I know what kind of basketball he intends to practice so I will put myself at the service of his game system. Furthermore, I am pleased to find Sebastiano Perin in the team, with whom I shared a great experience a couple of seasons ago in Torrenova. I’m energized and can’t wait to train and play ”.
The play of Sicilian origins will therefore be able to make his debut as early as Sunday at the Palasport Tino Pellegrini in Teramo, in the home match against Salerno: “Last year I faced Teramo – continues Galipò – when I was wearing the Montegranaro shirt and I saw that a beautiful environment is created at palazzetto di Scapriano when the red and white play at home. I was born in a warm environment like Capo d’Orlando and I did all the youth teams there so I like to have the warmth of the fans around and feel their closeness and support during the matches. I am also aware of joining a group made up of many young people and senior athletes of quality and experience so I will try to understand training after training and race after race how to integrate and give everyone the opportunity to improve. I saw clips of Teramo matches in Spicchi and I noticed a lot of potential anyway. In addition, in the races so far disputed she has not gone down against anyone and with a bit of luck she could now certainly have more points in the standings ”.
