Successful launch of the biography of Claude Raymond, Frenchie

Claude Raymond, former Major League Baseball pitcher, notably with the Expos, and television and radio baseball analyst on the Expos network, launched his book, Frenchie. In 1971, André Dion, Jacques Trahan and Louis McNulty collaborated with Claude to set up the Claude-Raymond Fund, which helps young amateur athletes.

At the book launch Frenchie, you could see the author Martin Robitaille, Claude Raymond and André Gagnon, publisher of Éditions Hurtubise.

Claude Raymond, who joined the Expos in 1969, is flanked by Réjean Houle and Yvon Lambert.

Claude Raymond was happy to greet his good friend, comedian Mario Jean, as well as one of the best receivers in junior baseball, Jacques Larivière.

The former founding president of RDS, Gerry Janneteau, is accompanied by Claude Raymond, Perry Giannias, a renowned collector of Expos items, Patrick Messier, the excellent young baseball player, and his father, Alex Messier.

Claude Raymond is surrounded by his great friend and first receiver in the Braves organization, Yvan Dubois, and his partner in Expos games on television, René Pothier.

This week, the mayor of Terrebonne and his team celebrated their first anniversary of election. The mayor of Terrebonne, Mathieu Traversy, is surrounded by members of his team, Robert Auger, Claudia Abaunza and Daniel Aucoin.

The Anouk and Karianne Bégin sisters were part of the Saint-Léonard Suprêmes team that won the World Synchronized Skating Championship this year, with 19 countries participating.
