You can imagine what Stan Wawrinka must have looked like after the first game against Holger Rune at the prestigious ATP Masters in Paris-Bercy.
The three-time Grand Slam champion had three match points against 19-year-old Rune.
But he fended everyone off and threw Wawrinka out of the competition after two and a half hours 4: 6, 7: 5, 7: 6 (7: 3). Frustrating, especially since Rune’s extroverted nature on the court is not well received by all opponents.

Wawrinka, at 37 almost twice as old as Rune, congratulated fairly on the net, but couldn’t resist being reprimanded. “Like a baby on the pitch” leads the world number 18. on.
Rune will be able to get over it and reacted confidently to the provocation. “What a fight. Stan is an incredible fighter and I’m grateful to be in the second round,” the teenager wrote on Twitter. And that was anything but baby-like…
