Baník does not cause a great deal of terror on opponents’ pitches, Slezans have not won away in the top competition in 13 duels in a row. In Eden, however, they waited for a goal until the second half. An own goal by Filip Kaloč helped the home team take the lead, but Baník soon equalized thanks to Jiří Fleišman. However, coach Jindřich Trpišovský was lucky when he sent Matěj Jurásk onto the pitch in the 70th minute. The 19-year-old midfielder repaid him with two premiership goals in the league, and the red and whites won the top flight for the fourth time in a row.
Baník from Prague did not lose in the 11th league game in a row, and from the second place in the incomplete table they lose only one point to the leader Plzeň. However, the defending champion has Wednesday’s playoff against the newcomer from Brno to spare.
Slovácko won over the last Pardubice 1:0, the only goal was scored by Michal Tomič in the 55th minute. Thirty-nine-year-old Milan Petržela played 79 minutes in the home team, and with his 465th league start, he broke the record of current national team coach Jaroslav Šilhavý.
