VfL Bochum celebrates an immensely important home win over TSG Hoffenheim!
The Westphalians narrowly defeated the Sinsheimers 3-2 with a fighting performance, ÖFB legionnaire Kevin Stöger (in action from the start) became the match winner of the traditional club threatened with relegation with a brace. ÖFB legionnaire Florian Grillitsch also plays well with the guests.

Shortly afterwards, however, the home side are successful – and how! Stöger converts a free kick directly into Hoffenheim’s net to make it 1-0 and shakes the Ruhr Stadium (34′). In return, the crossbar saved Bochum after a shot from Drexler (36′).
When everything pointed to a thin lead for the home team, Passlack struck for Bochum in stoppage time and made it 2-0 (45th + 2).
In the second half, the hosts initially took command and made it 3-0 (64th) through Stöger, who scored a brace.
When everything pointed to a clear victory for Bochum, Hoffenheim came within a few minutes (73rd and 84th minute) of making it 3-2 thanks to a brace from Kramaric including a Grillitsch assist.
In the end, however, it was enough for Stöger and Co., who achieved an important home win and were able to leave the relegation zone. Hoffenheim, on the other hand, is ninth.
