The Rodez club explains that the adventure in Laurent Peyrelade and the RAF ends “against love”. Emerick Darbelet (below in photo) who had led the Rodez team in the Coupe de France in Saint-Étienne during the 7th round of the competition (0-0, 3-4 after the TABs) and the current staff take charge of the first team until further notice, announces Rodez Aveyron Football in its press release.

LIGUE 2 BKT: AGAINST LOVE, THE ADVENTURE BETWEEN LAURENT PEYRELADE AND THE RAF IS OVER
The president of Rodez Aveyron Football, Pierre-Olivier Murat and Laurent Peyrelade, had an interview today and announced the end of their collaboration. Emerick Darbelet and the current staff take charge of the first team until further notice.
Initially under contract until June 2023, Laurent Peyrelade joined the club during the 2015/2016 season, the club then playing in the 4th division, in the CFA. After a difficult first year and a sporting descent to the 5th French level, the club was finally drafted administratively.
It is from the following season, 2016/2017, that the sporting idyll will begin, with two accessions in 3 years. The first, from CFA to National, then the second, from National to Ligue 2, during the 2018/2019 season.
Twice named coach of the year by his peers during the two seasons of National, he will be the man of all records during the accession season with 76 points in total and an exceptional balance sheet: 23 wins, 7 draws and only 4 losses. A magnificent season punctuated by a rise to the second level in France, a real performance for a club like the RAF and a city the size of Rodez.
Laurent Peyrelade has succeeded in the challenge of keeping the club in Ligue 2 for three consecutive years. A hardworking man, passionate about his job, a perfectionist and close to his players, he has always worked with his heart and highlighted his freedom of operation within the club.
A common story that lasted more than 7 seasons, or nearly 270 matches in all competitions. The club and Laurent Peyrelade have learned, grown and climbed the ranks together.
