LEGEND MotoGP, Jorge Lorenzo gave his response to Marc Marquez’s chances of winning the upcoming 2023 MotoGP. He thinks Honda will help The Baby Alien -nicknamed Marc Marquez- in winning the most prestigious title in the iron horse competition.
Marc Marquez’s physical condition is also considered to be getting better after experiencing a severe accident in MotoGP 2020. The Spaniard suffered a fracture in his right arm and was absent for a long time.
Marquez also decided to undergo surgery on the injury to be able to appear competitive. As a result, Marquez managed to occupy 13th place in the 2022 MotoGP standings by winning one podium.
While Lorenzo saw that Marquez was getting stronger physically to be able to appear in MotoGP 2023. He also explained that even though the RC213V was not competitive, the Spaniard could still be on the podium.
“Marc (Marquez) seems to be getting stronger physically. It looks like he can get on the podium with a less competitive motorbike,” said Lorenzo, quoted from Speedweek, Sunday (20/11/2022).
