Pļaviņš/Samoilovs do not pass the first round of qualification in the “Elite 16” tournament in Australia

The Latvian duet, which had the tenth number in the qualification, lost in the first round of the selection with the result 0-2 (20:22, 17:22) to the Serbian beach volleyball players Lazars Kolarić and Džorži Klasnić, who were seeded with the seventh number.

This was the first joint tournament for Pļaviņas/Samoilovs at the “Elite 16” level.

Last week, there in Australia, the Latvians did not get out of the subgroup of the “Challenge” level tournament.

This year, the first level competition in the “Pro Beach Tour” ranking is called “Elite 16”, the second ranking is “Challenge”, the third is the “Future” competition.
