Côte d’Ivoire will be refereeing an important basketball competition very soon. This is the 2nd qualifying window of the African basketball league or the Basketball Africa League, (BAL). It is a basketball club competition in Africa, launched in 2020 with the support of FIBA and the NBA.
President of the organizing committee of this competition, Ouattara Dramane said OD launched a call for mobilization to the populations.
” From November 14 to 19, 2022, Côte d’Ivoire will host the second stage of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) at the Palais des Sports in treichville. In my capacity as President of the Organizing Committee, I invite the general population and basketball lovers to participate massively in this beautiful sporting celebration. The ABC club, representing Côte d’Ivoire at this tournament, which moreover brilliantly distinguished itself at the first stage in Niamey on October 21, 22 and 23, winning all three matches, will need the support of his people. Let’s all be present,” wrote Ouattara Dramane dit OD on social networks.
Note that the first qualifying window took place from October 18 to 23, 2022 in Niamey, Niger.
