NFL: Tua Tagovailoa to miss next Dolphins game with concussion

Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel announced Monday that his quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will miss the team’s next game against the New York Jets.

Tua suffered a concussion in last Thursday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Following a violent tackle to the ground, Tua left the pitch on a stretcher and was later taken to hospital. The quarterback was also injured in the previous game against the Buffalo Bills, but he came back in the game.

In four games this season, Tagovailoa has thrown for 1,035 yards, in addition to throwing eight touchdowns and three interceptions.

The Dolphins will look for a fourth win this season when they face Zach Wilson and the Jets on Sunday afternoon.
