NBA – The Golden State Warriors still beaten, the Brooklyn Nets too

The game: Butler and the Heat overthrow the Warriors

Four away games for Golden State and four losses. However, the Warriors seemed this time on track to finally win a victory outside their land. Then Jimmy Butler decided otherwise. The Heat’s All-Star guard was the driving force behind a fourth quarter largely favored by Miami and the Floridians prevailed 116-109 against the defending champions. Butler notably scored 5 points in a row including a 3-point action to regain the advantage just under two minutes from the final buzzer. He finished with 23 points, one length short of teammate Max Strus.

The Warriors may have regrets. They led by 10 points in the second half. They were still 8 points ahead at the start of the last quarter before scoring only 15 points in 12 minutes while conceding 30. Stephen Curry compiled a triple-double (23 points, 13 rebounds, 13 assists) but Steve Kerr’s players lacked rigor and attention: 20 lost balls, which brought 28 points for the Heat. Miami and Golden State are two big teams in difficulty at the start of the season. This victory should therefore do good for the confidence of Erik Spoelstra’s men.

It was inevitable: Nash is no longer the coach of the Nets

The player: heroic LaVine in the money time

With or without Steve Nash, the results don’t change for the Nets. Well for now. Brooklyn played its first game without its former coach, dismissed on Monday. The New Yorkers lost against the Bulls (99-108) by falling on a great Zach LaVine. The Chicago guard scored 20 of his 29 points in the final 12 minutes. His team won 31-19 in the fourth quarter to come back in front on the wire. Jacque Vaughn coached the Nets led by Kevin Durant (32 points) but therefore beaten for the sixth time in eight games.

The performance: Gilgeous-Alexander carries the Thunder to a fourth success in a row

No one can stop Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the young Canadian star never stops shining. And suddenly, the Thunder does not stop winning. Oklahoma City picked up a fourth straight win by beating Orlando last night (116-108). The young team coached by Mark Daigneault however had a deficit of 15 points in the second half but they came back under the impetus of SGA, author of 34 points including 13 in the fourth quarter. The 24-year-old hasn’t dropped below 24 units since the start of the season. He is currently running at 31 points and almost 7 assists per game. The Thunder now has a positive record with 4 wins in 7 games.

A basket like he put hundreds to go a little more in the history of the NBA.

The French: Gobert little used

Another disappointing evening for the Timberwolves, beaten by the Suns. Rudy Gobert played 32 minutes and he only tried… one shot (missed). He still caused fouls to finish with 7 points and 9 rebounds. For a differential of -14. Adaptation is still complicated in Minneapolis. Evening a little more joyful for Ousmane Dieng, author of 8 points and 4 rebounds for the Thunder.

All scores

Nets – Bulls : 108-99
Heat – Warriors : 116-109
Thunder – Magic : 116-108
