Only the injured Makoto Hasebe (torn knee ligament) and Christopher Lenz (thigh) were missing before the flight to Lisbon.

The long-term injured Aurélio Buta was back in team training for the first time in around three months and did some running training. Striker Ansgar Knauff trained with the team again ahead of the Bundesliga game against Borussia Dortmund last Friday. Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner promised the 20-year-old a possible assignment on Tuesday evening at the press conference on Friday.

With a win on the last day of the group match at Sporting Lisbon, the Europa League winner would reach the round of 16 in the premier class for the first time. It would even be possible to win the group. In the event of a draw or a defeat, head coach Glasner’s team will continue in the Europa League at most. If Marseille wins against Tottenham at the same time, fourth place and the complete end of Europe would threaten.
