This Saturday in Plaza Miter the last edition of the Flame Festival was held, organized by the Directorate for Children and Youth of the Municipality of General Pueyrredon. More than 6,000 people participated in this event that brought together freestyle culture with basketball tournaments, skateboarding, breakdance battles and the participation of local artists such as Lego Skillz, Socio, Yogurt, Grecco and Badpukka, Dollar 13 and DRK.
In this framework, Mayor Guillermo Montenegro said that “this is part of the Mar del Plata that we want: a city that is active all year round, with proposals that generate work and enjoyment for the residents.”
It should be remembered that the first edition took place on September 3 at the Islas Malvinas Sports Center, with a full schedule of music, dance and gaming. Subsequently, on September 18, the second day was held at Villa Victoria, with activities focused on the Harry Potter universe. And on Sunday, October 30, a freestyle-themed day was held at the Teatro Colón.
