With a post on his social profiles, the Councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Taranto, Gianni Azzaro, announced the approval of the document addressing the design of the multipurpose outdoor field.
“With the additional approval of the design guideline document, the Rinaldo Melucci administration takes a significant step towards drafting the project for the new multipurpose outdoor field for baseball, rugby and football.
The plant, financed under the Pnrr with 3.5 million euros, it will be built between via Palatucci and via Scoglio del Tonno, in the Taranto 2 area, and will be functional for the 2026 Mediterranean Games.
Thanks to the diligence of our offices, we are respecting deadlines and commitments, in this case especially with sports clubs that have been asking for a structure dedicated to these sports for years”.
