The Texas Rangers have been given the responsibility of hosting the 2024 All-Star Game, Major League Baseball announced Thursday. The Midseason Classic will be at Globe Life Field, in what will be the fifth season for that stadium.
“Major League Baseball is proud to award the 2024 All-Star Game to the Rangers and the cities of Arlington and Fort Worth, who made a strong case for hosting All-Star Week”said the commissioner Rob Manfred it’s a statement. “The Rangers stepped up amid difficult circumstances to host the 2020 Postseason, including the World Series. We’re excited to once again glorify baseball’s newest stadium.”.
Texas se a a Seattle (2023) y Philadelphia (2026) as the next venues of the All-Star Game. The sailors will receive next year’s event in the T-Mobile Park.
The Globe Life Field it was inaugurated in 2020 and hosted the National League Championship Series and the 2020 World Series. It will be the first Stars game in that enclosure.
The last time that the Rangers were the hosts of the event was in 1995being the only time the franchise has hosted the All-Star Game thus far.
